Preceding the Mark VI, the Selmer Balanced Action remains one of Selmer's legendary instruments. This saxophone, made in 1945 and numbered 32011, has a wonderful, colorful and robust sound.
This beautiful saxophone still has much of it's original Silver Plating. The horn has clearly been used but certainly not abused and the sound is large, vibrant and glorious.
The broad and lovely tonal palette combined with an ease of response makes this instrument a highly exciting horn to play, a truly great alto Saxophone.
