The New Yamaha YPC 81R “Wave” cut headjoint is an alternative head joint which offers a very gratifying response, a wider dynamic range. It is also the head joint that Yamaha delivers with their YPC 62R piccolos and accounts for the dramatic improvement of this instrument over their standard YPC 62.

Features of this Yamaha Piccolo YPC 81R (62R) Piccolo Head Joint with Wave are:

  • Made of Grenadilla Wood 
  • High Wave for a robust sonority coupled with great projection.



!!! Note: This head joint should fit all Yamaha YPC 62, YPC 81 and YPC 82 Custom Piccolos but some adjustment may be necessary.
