Personal data that we process

Matthew's Music processes your personal data when you use our services and/or order products in our web-shop or physical store. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

Purposes for collecting your data.

Matthew's Music processes your personal data for the following purposes:

Processing payment transactions: To complete your payment, you choose a payment method. All further payment details are only shared with the payment processor and / or with your bank. For fraud prevention purposes, we use your IP address, address details and payment details if there is a legitimate suspicion of fraud. Execution of statutory duty: In order to comply with our statutory duty, we keep your order history including payment details within the set legal term. The Dutch Tax and Customs Administration requires a storage period of administration with invoice, payment and order data of at least 7 years.

Necessary information provision: If a change in our services or a defect in a product purchased by you requires it to inform you about this, we will try to contact you. We strive to keep this to an absolute minimum.

Sending newsletters: We offer the possibility to register for our newsletter. We keep you informed about new, interesting offers and activities. We aim to send out a newsletter a maximum of twice a month. Sometimes we send a targeted newsletter to a selected group for which it is relevant.
