Designed by Altus founder and flutemaker Shuichi Tanaka, the Azumi flute line features a professional hand-cut embouchure hole for a free-blowing response and large tone throughout all registers.

Named for the mountainous region of Azumino, Japan, the birthplace of Altus handmade flutes, Azumi relies on the premium performance and playability of the unique Altus "S" cut embouchure combined with a precisely crafted body and mechanism.

Orders within The Netherlands are shipped with PostNL. We do our best to send out orders that are received before 5pm with next day delivery. For our customers outside NL, we send our packages with Post NL which then hooks up with your local postal service. All packages are insured and tracked for it to arrive safely at your door. The Azumi S3 flute with C-foot, sterling silver (.958) S-cut headjoint, body and foot and choice of closed keys (Azumi AZS3E) or open keys (Azumi AZS3RE).

The S3 series Azumi comes with an S-cut headjoint made of Britannia silver (.958). The headjoint is handmade by the higher positioned brand Altus and the oval shaping of the embouchure hole (S-Cut) gives the Azumi AZ-S3 a versatile, individual tone with slightly more resistance than the Z-cut head-joint. The Britannia silver (.958) body and foot-joint make the Z3 and S3 flutes the top series of Azumi.
