With a heritage of instrument making in Japan that traces back to 1893, Yanagisawa is regarded today as maker of the most carefully handcrafted family of artist-level saxophones. Mr. Takanobu Yanagisawa, son of the company's founder, continues to lead his firm in the pursuit of a simple but ambitious goal: to build the finest saxophones in the world.
Yanagisawa introduced their new line of curved soprano saxophones at the end of 2018. This SC-WO10 replaces the SC-991 model. It has a body made of Yellow Brass and produces a brighter voice with more focus and core.
